What You’ll Be Doing as a Sr. Service TechnicianWondering what your day‑to‑day could look like as our new Sr. Service Technician? In this role, you’ll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on Sol Bank Storage Power Block (SPB). This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.

We have roles open in Richmond and Alvin, TX.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
- Manage obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s, which may include:
- Energy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s)
- Power Conversion Stations (PCS)
- Ring Main Units (RMU’s) / Switchgear
- Transformers
- SCADA and networking devices
- Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands‑on support to maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees
- Oversee and supervise sub‑contractors on site when required
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
- Complete work order documentation in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy of spare parts inventory
- Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
- Support client training during commissioning
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned
