Job Title: Air Quality Engineer – Oil & Petroleum Industry

Location: Houston, TX (local candidates only – no relocation or sponsorship available)

Our client is seeking an experienced Air Quality Engineer with a strong background in air permitting, compliance, and emissions calculations
. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise from the oil and petroleum industries
, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting operational excellence.

• Perform air quality emissions calculations and prepare regulatory reports.
• Manage air permitting processes, including NSR/PSD and Title V permits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Support audits, inspections, and agency communications.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams on compliance strategies.
• Provide technical expertise in air quality monitoring and regulatory programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in air quality, permitting, and compliance.
• Strong background in the oil, gas, or petroleum industry

• Demonstrated experience with air permitting calculations and compliance reporting

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (no sponsorship).
• Must reside near Houston, TX (no relocation).
