Commissioning Lead / Supervisor
Location: Remote - Nationwide Travel
Schedule: 3-4 weeks on / 1 week off
Compensation: Flexible base + full benefits + 1.5x OT (50-60 hrs/wk)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire (No contractors)
Company OverviewA major privately held EPC organization – one of the largest engineering & construction groups in North America – is expanding its Commissioning teams for multiple long-term industrial projects. The firm has a deep pipeline across sectors including Power, Data Centers, Industrial, Oil & Gas, RNG, Water/Wastewater, and more. Position OverviewThis role provides Commissioning leadership across major industrial projects nationwide. Candidates will support new construction projects such as large-scale Data Centers, RNG facilities, pump stations, and other industrial sites.
This is a remote, travel-heavy role ideal for someone who thrives on being on the road and supporting complex projects across the U.S. The company is looking for career-minded professionals who want a long-term home, not short-term contract work.
Start date target:
January
- Lead site Commissioning activities from planning through turnover.
- Perform hands‑on testing, startup, troubleshooting, and verification (not just oversight).
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and operations teams to resolve site issues.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, schedules, and activity trackers.
- Serve as a technical authority on site, independently resolving complex problems.
- Support multiple industrial projects through a rotational travel schedule.
- ~10+ years of Commissioning experience (flexible for strong candidates).
- Some Data Center Commissioning experience is required.
- Ideally a mix of Data Centers and diversified sectors such as LNG, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Biogas, Industrial, etc.
- Experience commissioning entire systems—not just I&E or instrumentation components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills; demonstrates independent decision‑making.
- Comfortable working 50‑60 hours weekly with extended rotations.
