Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and report RNG production and credit generation (LCFS, RFS) to EPA, CARB, and internal systems
- Collect and track production data in coordination with Operations and Engineering
- Manage and update daily gas nominations with pipelines
- Oversee RIN (Renewable Identification Number) generation and transfers with third-party consultants
- Support EPA and CARB registrations, audits, and engineering reviews by providing invoices, reports, and operational data
- Prepare and submit new fuel pathway petitions and registrations under RFS and LCFS programs
- Distribute royalty statements to source customers
- Validate RNG sales statements and partner invoices for accuracy
- Validate and process vendor payments related to compliance and consulting
- Submit purchase requisitions for vendor services
Experience:
Accounting, commodity production or gas scheduling (e.g., natural gas or electricity), financial reporting, regulatory compliance (EPA, CARB, IRS), billing/accounts payable or receivable.
TechnicalSkills:
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.)
- Familiarity with industry-specific platforms (e.g., pipeline nomination portals, RIN systems)
This temporary position supports the Energy Manager in managing regulatory compliance, operational data tracking, billing, and credit generation for a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) producer, operator, and supplier. The role is essential to maintain reporting and compliance functions during a team member’s maternity leave and may transition into a permanent role.
