Senior Wells Engineer

Join the ECI Group's Professional Technical Services Network as a CWI Senior Wells Engineer. This is a Houston‑Based twelve‑month contract role with a January 6, 2006 start and ending on December 29, 2026.

• Senior‑level Wells Engineer role focused on design, planning, and management of drilling operations
• Must handle mid‑level wells engineering complexity, including casing/tubing string design and activity unit selection
• Requires translating Shell Wells guidelines/standards into practical execution with measurable business impact
• Expected to drive technology adoption and field optimization opportunities

• Strong, hands‑on Wells Engineering experience in drilling/completions/interventions (not junior‑level)
• Direct experience managing drilling operations and collaborating with multi‑disciplinary stakeholders and contractors
• Previous exposure to budget impact, operational efficiency, and leading technical recommendations
• Experience guiding or mentoring others in Wells engineering is preferred

• Ability to coordinate work independently and bring together inputs across teams
• Strong communicator who can represent Shell externally as a subject matter expert when needed
• Must be capable of delivering recommendations that influence operational decisions
