This is an excellent opportunity to join a major chemical operator as a Mechanical Integrity Engineer taking the lead on supporting the integrity and reliability of tanks, piping, and pressure systems across multiple facilities playing a critical role in maintaining compliance with ASME and API standards.
The ideal candidate will bring practical experience in inspection planning, integrity assessments, and documentation in either chemical storage, terminals, refineries, or petrochemical facilities along with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

THE ROLE- Develop, implement, and maintain mechanical integrity programs for tanks, piping, and pressure equipment in compliance with ASME and API 653 / API 570 requirements.
- Manage inspection data, analysis, and reporting using Asset Integrity software, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and regulatory readiness.
- Review inspection findings, perform fitness-for-service assessments, and recommend repairs, replacements, or risk mitigation actions.
- Partner with maintenance, operations, and project teams to support planning, execution, and continuous improvement of asset reliability programs as well as manage and co‑ordinate contracted members of the team.
- Degree‑qualified Mechanical Engineer or equivalent experience in chemical, refinery, or industrial storage environments.
- Strong working knowledge of ASME codes and API 653 (Above ground Storage Tanks) and API 570 (Piping Inspection) standards.
- Hands‑on experience using Asset Integrity Management software for inspection planning and data management.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and confident communicating technical findings to both engineering and operational stakeholders.
