I’m hiring an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, program, test, and support industrial control systems for a Machinery Manufacturer in Houston. The role can fit entry-level, mid-level, or senior engineers depending on your experience with PLCs, HMIs, and commissioning work.
What You’ll Work On- Build and support PLC-based control systems
- Write control narratives and develop PLC code (Ladder, Structured Text, Function Block)
- Run acceptance testing and support commissioning
- Document automation projects and manage revisions
- Improve existing control products and help design new ones
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation Technology, or similar
- Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, Phoenix Contact, or Modicon platforms
- Industrial testing, startup, or commissioning experience
- Mid/senior candidates should bring hands‑on PLC programming and on-site startup experience.
