Position Specific Description
This position sits within the Power Generation Division (PGD) in support of the Methane Abatement Projects and Pipelines projects. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing day to day operational support for all assets in the portfolio
- Provide engineering support for equipments at site including static and rotating machinery (e.g. Pumps, Blowers, Compressors, gas-liquid separators, flares, thermal oxidizers etc.)
- Scope and execute projects for the Operations team
- Conduct Issues & Opportunities register ranking with appropriate stakeholders
- Monitor and improve Plant Availability and conduct Defect Elimination / Reliability analysis, develop improvement prospects based on the outcome of the analysis.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly reports on plant performance and availability to operations and business management leadership teams
- Identify improvement opportunities with existing engineering standards and procedures and new engineering standards and procedures to improve engineering
- Develop new and review existing engineering standards and procedures when requested
- Responsible for tracking key engineering deliverables and adjusting engineering plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers and reporting status to management and making corrective actions as needed
- Support verification of ER’s generated from each project with the Regulatory and EHS teams
Employees in this role apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. Individuals will use advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices.
