- Perform and approve engineering solutions within projects and/or operations, manufacturing, fabrication and installation sites, in accordance with department, project, manufacturing, fabrication, installation instructions, schedule and processes and HSE requirements.
- Optimize engineering solutions.
- Provide technical assistance within projects, manufacturing, fabrication and installation sites.
- Approve design basis.
- Coordinate engineering activities on tenders and project execution.
- Supervise subcontractors.
- Guarantee compliance of engineering solutions with client requirements, industry standards, HSE, engineering processes, and best practices for the discipline.
- Provide guidance and training to Engineers under supervision/coordination.
- Interface with other engineering disciplines and engineering teams.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Project Engineer-related occupation.
- Experience with design of subsea production systems for oil and gas industry.
- Experience with manufacturing, assembly and testing of subsea production systems for oil and gas industry.
- Experience with Engineering systems (e.g. PLM software) and SAP.
- Experience in oil and gas industry standards such as API 17D, API 6A, ASME B31.3 and B31.8.
- Experience with manufacturing environment, including support to product and service delivery, troubleshooting, technical investigations.
- Experience leading and executing root cause analysis investigations with industry methods (5
Whys/8D method). - Experience with Lean product and processes development.
