Senior Electronic Design Engineer

Job Purpose:

Designs, develops and verifies data acquisition and sensor interface circuits, primarily for the high temperature environment in downhole Oil & Gas wells.

• Develop state‑of‑the‑art electronics designs for operation in high temperature downhole environments from concept to manufacturing release.
• Collaborate with the Electrical Engineering department and other engineering teams to shape equipment design and improve departmental processes.
• Apply detailed knowledge to sensor application and interfacing.
• Perform front‑end signal conditioning and amplification.
• Select and qualify state‑of‑the‑art A/D converters.
• Develop micro‑controller and DSP applications.
• Design high‑speed digital interfacing.
• Implement programmable gate arrays.
• Integrate DRAM and flash memory components.

• DC/DC switching converters.
• High‑power analog amplification circuits (up to 100 watts).
• Brushless DC motor control.
• Power‑efficient solenoid actuation methods.

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred 10–15 years of industry experience.
