Senior Fire Protection Engineer

About the Role:

Anadarko Industries, LLC is hiring a Fire Protection Engineer to provide fire safety leadership and technical expertise across critical facilities. You’ll ensure code compliance, guide life safety design, and contribute to long‑term planning and emergency response strategies.

• Review and approve fire protection system designs and installations.
• Inspect facilities and analyze safety risks.
• Support construction projects with life safety compliance.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for emergency response.
• Provide expert consultation on fire codes and standards.
• Deliver training and support audits of fire protection systems.
• Analyze water supply capabilities for fire suppression readiness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field with experience working with fire safety systems; OR
• APS or RME‑G license with 15 years of design or installation experience with
• Edwards and Monaco fire alarm systems
• Familiarity with IBC, NFPA / ICC codes, UFC, and OSHA
• PE license in Fire Protection Engineering

Job Type: Full‑time

Schedule:

8‑hour shift, with an option to observe a 9/80 schedule.

Work Location:

In‑person at Johnson Space Center.

Pay: $115,000 – $155,000
