AXG is partnered with a large Midstream owner/operator seeking a Senior Project Estimator to support the capital delivery teams by creating, maintaining, and analyzing both cost estimates and project schedules for large‑scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) initiatives. This role plays a key part in estimating resource needs, timelines, and budgets that guide decision‑making throughout the lifecycle of major projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine project cost estimates from early concept through more detailed estimate phases, ensuring alignment with scope, market conditions, and risk profiles.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze project schedules that reflect engineering, procurement, and construction sequencing, logic, durations, and milestones.
  • Evaluate estimate and schedule assumptions for accuracy, feasibility, and impact on overall project plans.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, project controls, and construction teams to incorporate inputs and validate deliverables.
  • Support cost and schedule integration with project controls, including earned value concepts and risk or change analyses.
  • Prepare presentations and reporting that summarize estimate and schedule status, risks, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant experience in cost estimating and project scheduling for EPC or capital projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency developing cost estimates and detailed project schedules; strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Knowledge of project controls principles, forecasting methods, and collaborative project planning environments.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across technical and commercial teams.
