What will you be doing?

At Subsea7, we drive the global delivery of offshore energy projects, shaping the future with innovation, collaboration, and performance.

Our recent substantial contract awards and strong backlog in the Region pave the way for experienced onshore Senior Project Surveyors to become part of our dynamic Houston-based team. Applicants must demonstrate relevant experience working as an office based Senior Project Surveyor, and be able to work from our Houston office.

Requirements
  • Provide technical and operational input throughout the SURF/IRM project lifecycle, from tender to execution.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and third-party providers to identify personnel, equipment, and project needs, ensuring timely delivery to worksites.
  • Develop procedures, attend briefings/debriefings with key survey personnel and other project stakeholders.
  • Manage deliverables, oversee service providers, and uphold standards to meet client expectations on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that end of trip reports are closed out in a timely manner with lessons learned being captured and communicated.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance survey processes and technologies.
What experience would we like you to have?
  • Established experience in a similar onshore survey role with a background in offshore survey.
  • Experience in subsea construction and IRM operations, with demonstrable understanding of current techniques and technologies in subsea ROV based positioning, measurement and mapping.
  • A higher education qualification in a Survey related science subject or professional association is beneficial.
  • Effective project planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage workloads independently while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, both written and verbal, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in business tools, including Microsoft Word and Excel, to support reporting and project documentation.
  • Adaptable and dependable, with flexibility to meet operational demands across varying schedules and locations.
