Associate Project Manager - Engineering

Title:

K  is looking for an Associate Project Manager - Engineering to support capital projects.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Support sales team in proposal preparation.
• Takeover of new projects secured by Sales team and carry out tasks associated with project initiation.
• Maintain and follow checklists as per PEQ Execution Process flow diagram.
• Maintain and report project schedule status and incurred costs at regular intervals.
• Proactively address technical and commercial challenges and manage changes effectively.
• Ensure utilization of the document management system for the project.
• Travel to vendor and client locations for meetings as needed.

Requirements:

• An engineering graduate with 10-15 years of experience, preferably in project management roles within equipment manufacturing or fabrication industries.
• Additional certifications in project management are advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of refining, petrochemical, and syngas technologies.
• Experience in project management within these technologies.
• Understanding of contractual documents, scope of work, and liabilities.
• Knowledge of project budgeting, controls, and commercial documents.
• Basic understanding of materials of construction, manufacturing codes, instrumentation, piping, and logistics.
• Ability to review manufacturing drawings and provide inputs.
• Ability to coordinate with customers and stakeholders effectively.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
