1) CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for all technical liaisons with the customer, providing the key interface between the customer’s organization and the PCE organization.
2) CHANGE MANAGEMENT:
The Process Engineer will coordinate all engineering changes introduced while products are in volume manufacturing. This covers all internal and external communications and the control of the exchange of documents with the customer, including ECNs generated internally within PCE.
3) LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT:
The Process Engineer will manage the complete product life cycle from request for quotation to end‑of‑life of the product and/or the customer relationship.
1) QUOTATIONS:
The Process Engineer analyses all RFQ information received from existing or prospective customers, including drawings, specifications, BOM, etc., ensuring accurate and detailed quotations. This involves convening engineering groups to assign responsibilities and deadlines.
2) BOM / AVL:
The Process Engineer ensures all BOMs and AVL’s are maintained to the highest level of accuracy.
3) TEAMWORK:
The Process Engineer collaborates with engineering and cross‑functional teams, communicating effectively and motivating individuals toward group goals.
4) DOCUMENTATION:
The Process Engineer obtains all customer documentation required internally, approves documentation prior to release for PVT/NPI processes, and manages all changes/ECNs to existing products in manufacturing.
5) PRODUCTION SUPPORT: The Process Engineer is the focal point of contact for all manufacturing‑related problems.
6) NPI/PVT:
The Process Engineer coordinates the introduction of new products into manufacturing, managing all plant functions and preparing integrated plans for tools, equipment, training, staffing, materials, and documentation. After PVT completion, the Process Engineer reports results and recommends corrective actions or release to manufacturing.
7) LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT:
The Process Engineer manages the product throughout its life in manufacturing, including introduction, ramp to volume, steady state, and end‑of‑life, considering tooling, equipment, materials, and cost implications.
8) MEASUREMENTS:
The Process Engineer will be measured on the following categories.
- ECN ACTIVITY
- NPI TURNAROUND TIME
- BOM / AVL ACCURACY
- SCRAP DUE TO OBSOLESCENCE
The Process Engineer reports these measurements monthly.
Job SpecificationQualifications/experiences:
- Degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Rigorous and self‑organised.
- Fluent English.
- Flexible and available with regard to working schedule.
- Good communication.
