Rotating Equipment Specialist – Turnaround Quality & Reporting (100%)

Be the face of innovation in the global energy sector

Based in Houston, this new role supports the full lifecycle of major Turnaround projects — from early technical planning and preparation to on-site execution and post-job review.

As the technical point of contact during field execution, you ensure accurate reporting, quality compliance and clear documentation. Post-project, you contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement.

Field oriented, extensive travel to job sites, partial remote flexibility during planning and reporting phases.

What you will do
  • Support the full lifecycle of Turnaround projects — from planning to post-job analysis
  • Prepare technical documentation, work packs, and tooling plans specific to Turnarounds
  • Participate early in planning and scope reviews to ensure technical readiness
  • Brief field crews on technical procedures, safety, and job expectations before execution
  • Oversee tooling use and support field teams during critical Turnaround phases
  • Ensure accurate reporting, data capture, and photo documentation during the job
  • Finalize report packages and lead lessons learned and post-Turnaround improvement sessions
  • Collaborate closely with Field Service, Tooling, Engineering teams, and the customer
What makes you the ideal fit
  • 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment
  • Experience working with OEMs or independent service providers in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry
  • Strong working knowledge of steam turbines and centrifugal compressors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering is a plus but not required; relevant experience with rotating equipment in field service is essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project)
  • Self-driven and service-oriented
  • Strong team collaboration and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
What we offer
  • An attractive remuneration package
  • A dynamic work environment within the global energy sector
  • Opportunities to shape your role and contribute ideas
  • Comprehensive training and long-term development opportunities
  • A front-row seat to the latest achievements in the energy industry
