Job Description Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to perform advanced hydraulic/ flow assurance simulation for both Decarbonization/ clean (CO2, NH3, and H2) and Core energy (Crude Oil, NGL, and Natural Gas) pipeline. The successful candidate will be working in the Project Management Engineering team, which provides engineering expertise in pipeline simulation, flow assurance and fluid property calculation for new pipeline systems.

• Master's or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, or Chemical).
• A minimum of 10 years of related pipeline experience with Master degree or 15 years experience with Bachelor degree.

• Hands on experience of Well modeling, Well start-up, hydrate management study, corrosion study, pipeline slugging & mitigation methods, pipeline transient operations like Pigging, turndown, ramp up, blowdown, start-up & shutdown analysis using OLGA
• Must possess a subject matter expert level of knowledge and application steady-state and transient hydraulic/ flow assurance software.
• Experience in pipeline and facilities engineering evaluations such as hydraulic modeling, flow assurance, pump and compressor performance test and integrated field optimization.
• Knowledge in hydraulics, automation, leak detection technologies, modeling, statistical analysis, measurement/instrumentation, and SCADA and how to configure, tune and maintain advanced leak detection systems in a dynamic Control Center environment.
• Recognized industry technical expert in hydraulic simulations and design.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of general Engineering principles and theories.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment that may include handling sensitive company and customer information.
• Ability to communicate with management, peers, and across disciplines and companies.
• In-depth knowledge fluid properties, thermal-fluid dynamics and flow assurance.
• Familiar with DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other applicable pipeline safety and environmental regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

• Proficiency in advanced engineering skills.
• Can successfully plan and deliver complex, multi-team or system, long-term projects, including ones with external dependencies. Independently scopes, designs, and delivers solutions for large, complex challenges.
• Assesses the feasibility of proposed Engineering evaluation tests or products, when necessary, data is insufficient.
• Works toward solutions and applications that work for the entire system.
• Knowledge and experience in the design and operation of liquids pipeline facilities.
• Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job.
