Senior CAD Drafter

Job Summary

The Senior CAD Drafter will lead in the support of NTS Engineering and process facilities with sustainable CAD drafting and drawing/design management activities along with supporting engineering project needs across the company.

• Work with engineers and sales staff to develop complex and expert level engineering plans and sales drawings.
• Prepare drawings from rough sketches, notes, marked‑up prints, written or verbal instructions using CAD and other design software.
• Translate existing plans into NTS formats.
• Develop new drawing methods and processes.

• Expert in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Expert knowledge of NTS equipment.
• Proficient at researching current CAD practice.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA and applicable state and local requirements related to trench and excavation shoring and shielding.

• High school diploma; associate or technical degree preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience as a CAD drafter, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
