Process Engineer – Relocate to Saudi Arabia (Permanent Expat Relocation Package)

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Unconventional Resources Producing Department (URPD) within the Unconventional Resources organization. URPD is responsible for operating and maintaining surface facilities, ensuring the safe and efficient production of hydrocarbons.

• Provide day-to-day technical support to Operations and Maintenance units to troubleshoot and fix process equipment and systems.
• Develop engineering design packages for new installations and upgrade projects, including work scopes, calculations, and detailed technical specifications.
• Review project proposals and detailed design packages for new facilities.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of new facilities and Turnaround & Inspection (T&I).
• Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
• Analyze system performance and identify solutions for energy saving.
• Ensure quality, cost‑effective, and timely solutions for any upgrades.
• Test and pilot new technologies while ensuring full HSE compliance.
• Report and analyze key performance indices.
• Make recommendations for technical/economic optimization of existing facilities.
• Lead feasibility/profitability studies for new facilities and contribute to Business Unit strategy.
• Provide analysis, evaluation, and interpretation to support projects, processes, and financing related to capital investment decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of work experience, including 10 years in industrial operation facilities, with preference for experience in Shale gas facilities and modular skid‑mounted process units.
• Working knowledge of industry codes and standards such as API and ASME.
• Experience in creating/modifying PFDs and P&IDs, troubleshooting process equipment failures, performing failure analysis, and providing recommendations.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS), creating schematics and piping diagrams, specifying piping and equipment layout, and managing corrosion‑related issues.
• Strong communication skills; able to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and manage interactions with all levels of management.
• Proactive, self‑directed, and capable of working with minimal supervision on unstructured tasks.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) license desirable but not required.
• Thorough understanding of plant operations, process technologies, supply and product logistics, business drivers, cost drivers, and feedstock sensitivity.
