Engineer - Public Works

• Assisting with project management duties
• Participate on a team of engineers and drafters working on infrastructure projects
• Perform engineering calculations, designs, cost estimates, and specifications
• Engage in planning and public meetings
• Prepare and participate in client presentations
• Assist in developing plans and reports; and
• Mentor and direct entry-level engineers and drafters

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (M.S. is a strong plus)
• P.E. in Texas (DOT & municipal experience a plus)
• 4+ years of experience in engineering design
• Excellent skill in use of current versions of Microstation and/or AutoCAD
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power point) skill
• Sound technical design background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great client service capability is a must, as are technical specializations and proactivity
