HR Manager, North and Latin America with OMICRON electronics Corp. USA
Directly oversee the service, repair, and calibration of advanced Omicron test equipment throughout North and Latin America. This role ensures products meet quality standards and client expectations while driving continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Perform diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and upgrades on Omicron test equipment according to internal procedures and quality standards.
- Provide root cause analysis and detailed documentation of service work using the company’s service management tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and product support teams for complex issues and product improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and calibrations for ISO and internal compliance.
- Participate in continuous training programs to stay current with product developments and testing technologies.
- Ensure the service area is organized, clean, and meets ESD safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of analog/digital electronics, test methodologies, and measurement principles.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for training and occasional support activities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in service, repair, or calibration of electronic or electrical equipment (preferably in a high‑precision or test equipment environment).
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
- Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly to communicate with customers.
- Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of large objects more than 50 pounds, and operating office equipment; frequent sitting, occasional bending and kneeling.
- Work environment is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated; noise levels are low to moderate.
