Process Engineer

JCWS is partnered with a Houston based Pharma company seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join the team.

Day to day you will:

• Provide floor support for aseptic filling and lyophilization, troubleshoot issues, and reduce downtime
• Analyze process data, identify trends, and drive performance improvements
• Own development and optimization of lyophilization cycles and equipment troubleshooting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Validation, and Manufacturing on process changes, CAPAs, and documentation
• Support process validation and equipment qualification activities

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field)
• 3+ years of experience with aseptic filling and lyophilization in a pharmaceutical setting
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and industry standards
• Proficient in root cause analysis, data/statistical tools, and technical report writing
• Comfortable spending 50%+ of time on the manufacturing floor and working in ISO 5/7 clean rooms
