Job DescriptionCDM Smith is looking for an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This position presents an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to apply their engineering skills to innovative and sustainable water projects and to grow within a dynamic team. In this role, you will support the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and associated infrastructure.
Operating under direct supervision, you will ensure designs meet client specifications and comply with federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- Conduct site assessments and adjust design parameters as needed.
- Perform water quality analyses and modeling.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and collaborate on client presentations and industry conferences.
- Create documents and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC‑RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software.
- Assist in fieldwork supporting construction management activities, gaining comprehensive project lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 0 years of experience (entry level); equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required (frequency contingent on duties).
