General Information/Job Summary
Work within the I/E & Control Systems Department. Work on control systems engineering and designs for large industrial projects in midstream gas processing, petroleum refining, petrochemical, and upstream oil & gas industries.
Responsibilities/Competencies
* Act as a control systems engineer for selected projects.
* 10% - Interact with other engineering disciplines, engineering and construction project managers, and clients
* 5% - Provide input to the initial project schedule and support the regular maintenance of project schedules for designated projects.
* 20% - Work process quality review and drawing approval in the capacity of a lead engineer.
* 40% - Responsible for PLC/DCS Programming and HMI configuration.
* 25% - Perform Software Factory Acceptance Tests and Hardware Acceptance Tests for the plant control system.
* Provide man hour and equipment estimates for project proposals.
* Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities.
* Self-motivated with ability to work with others.
Requirements
* BS. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Engineering with equivalent I/E & control systems experience required.
* 5+ years' experience required, 10+ years preferred.
* Must have Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development experience.
* Delta V Programming experience is a plus.
* Industrial networking experience is a plus.
* Should be a self-learner and willing to go extra mile to accomplish tasks.
* EIT licensure required or the ability to get licensed after joining the company.
* Must have trouble shooting skills.
* Must have commissioning and start-up experience.
* Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
* Record of success working in a team culture

* Strong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
* Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
* Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
