Structural Engineer

Texas based full service civil and structural engineering company providing services to production and custom home builders, commercial builders, developers, architects as well as individuals.

We are currently seeking a Certified, Structural Engineering EIT for a position in our Houston, TX office. The Structural Engineering EIT will be responsible for efficiently producing structural designs such as foundation and framing plans for residential and commercial structures. This position reports to the Engineering Operations Manager and works closely with professional engineers, clients and drafting personnel.

• Design of foundation and framing structures for residential and commercial projects.
• Produce foundation and framing structure plans in Bricscad software

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Bricscad and associated programs.
• Work closely with clients, engineers and drafters to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
• Work independently and as part of a team with direction from Engineers/Project Managers.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Certificates & Licenses.
• Possess EIT (Engineer in Training) certification.
