Senior CAD Drafter

Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior CAD Drafter will lead in the support of NTS Engineering and process facilities with sustainable CAD drafting and drawing/design management activities along with supporting engineering project needs across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Engineers and Salesmen to develop complicated and expert level engineering plans and Sales drawings.
• Prepare drawings from rough sketches, notes, marked-up prints, written/verbal instructions with CAD, and other design software.
• Translate existing plans into NTS formats.
• Develop new drawing methods/processes.

Knowledge and Skills

• Expert in AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Expert knowledge of all NTS equipment.
• Proficient in researching current state of CAD practice.
• Basic knowledge of the OSHA and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and Shielding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma: associate/technical degree preferred
• Minimum (5) years' experience as a CAD drafter, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
