Electronics Technician, Electrical Engineering
Perform diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and upgrades on Omicron test equipment according to internal procedures and quality standards.
- Provide root cause analysis and detailed documentation of service work using the company’s service management tools.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product support teams for complex issues and product improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and calibrations for ISO and internal compliance.
- Participate in continuous training programs to stay current with product developments and testing technologies.
- Ensure the service area is organized, clean, and meets ESD safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of analog/digital electronics, test methodologies, and measurement principles.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for training and occasional support activities.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in service, repair, or calibration of electronic or electrical equipment (preferably in a high-precision or test equipment environment).

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
