Job Summary
In this role, you will lead procurement planning and pricing support for Infrastructure Heavy Civil pursuits and projects. You will work closely with Infrastructure leadership, estimating, engineering, construction, and project teams to develop procurement strategies, pricing inputs, and commercial summaries that support accurate estimate development across all estimate classes. You will ensure procurement operations comply with corporate, business unit and project requirements.
MajorResponsibilities
- Supports development and execution of procurement strategies, pricing inputs, and estimate plans for Infrastructure pursuits and projects.
- Coordinates with cross‑GBU stakeholders, project teams, and estimating groups to develop bidder strategies, pricing basis, schedules, forecasts, and estimate inputs.
- Prepares and delivers commercial bid evaluations, and key inputs for estimate and management reviews.
- Assists in identifying pricing risks, sensitivities, and market impacts, including escalation considerations.
- Monitors regional and market trends, material pricing, and supplier performance history to inform estimates and bidder selection.
- Supports development of strategic supplier relationships and contributes to identifying appropriate bidder pools by region and scope.
- Drives alignment of procurement planning activities across estimating, engineering, construction, and project management functions.
- Develops and coordinates procurement‑related procedures, schedules, estimates, and other relevant documentation as required.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Law, Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Previous 10+ years of experience in contract formation and/or administration and/or purchasing of a medium to large scale project.
- Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management preferably on EPC Projects with the formation and administration of agreements for Heavy Civil groundwork and marine projects.
- Thorough knowledge of subcontract and purchase order administration, procedures, and documents for multidiscipline construction projects.
- Extensive experience in project setup, including building a team, developing project specific templates and developing project execution strategy.
- Demonstrated skills in developing and upskilling team members, working and communicating effectively with all levels of project functional groups.
- 2+ years of experience with procuring goods and services with a preference for expereince with groundwork and marine scopes
