• Review municipal zoning and land‑development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine land‑development limitations for the property.
• Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports, including ordinance review, utility service research, outside agency regulations, and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines.
• Prepare conceptual site plans.
• Prepare preliminary grading plans and designs.
• Design storm‑water management and conveyance systems, utility systems, and soil erosion and sediment control plans.
• Prepare construction cost estimates.
• Prepare project proposals.
• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, other consultants, and project teams to prepare comprehensive site‑plan applications.
• Prepare technical reports, including drainage, sanitary sewer, and site‑investigation reports.
• Prepare written correspondence to outside agencies, clients, contractors, etc.
• Present to planning and zoning boards, municipal agencies, and project teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in civil site engineering (residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting).
• Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling software.
• In‑depth knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
• Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic and storm‑water design.
• Proficient in design and drafting capabilities, grading and drainage design skills, and utility design (pump station and force mains).
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
• Proficient in the use of mapping websites for due diligence and site‑investigation purposes.
• Construction support experience.
• Use of design tools:
  • AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Hydrology software (Hydraflow, Hydro
    
    CAD, Pond Pack)
  • Hydraulic software (Hydraflow, Storm
    
    CAD, Storm & Sanitary Analysis SSA)
  • HEC‑RAS
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
• Proficient with Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe for design document markups.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this position is $95k – $115k.
