Solutions Engineer​/Manager

We’re coming off a strong year and are setting even higher ambitions for the future. To help us reach the next level, we’re looking for a Solutions Engineer/Manager to join our team.

As a Solutions Engineer / Solutions Manager, you'll be the technical lead on sales pursuits from first conversation through pilot. You'll show prospects what Ambyint can do, design solutions that fit how they operate, and make sure pilots deliver measurable results. You'll report to the Solutions Management team lead.

• Guide prospects through each stage of the Ambyint sales process, working closely with the sales team
• Prepare and deliver compelling, tailored product demos for customer meetings, partner meeting, internal marketing campaigns and industry shows and events
• Explain the value of AI-driven artificial lift optimization to everyone from lease operators and production engineers to production managers and executives
• Build sales decks, technical collateral and business cases for active opportunities
• Provide technical input on contracts, RFQs and RFPs
• Gather customer requirements, design technical solutions and define success metrics
• Plan and run customer pilots, including well selection, setup, KPI tracking and results reporting
• Help move successful pilots into full commercial deployments
• Share field and customer insights with Product Management, Customer Success, Marketing and leadership to shape the roadmap

• A bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
• 5+ years of oil & gas experience in artificial lift, primarily rod lift optimization (plunger lift/gas lift is a plus)
• Experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, production engineering or technical sales, ideally at a B2B software or technology company
• Working knowledge of oilfield OT and IT, such as SCADA, RTUs/PLCs, rod pump and plunger controllers, historians, Modbus, and cloud or IoT data flows
• The ability to diagnose technical problems quickly and address objections with credibility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management across several opportunities at once

• Based in Houston, TX (hybrid)
• 15-25% travel to customer offices, field locations and industry events
