Description

FIELD ENGINEER

The Field Engineer will manage the Screaming Eagle Staff on site at the customers’ location. The Field engineer will generate a project schedule and report the status to the schedule on a daily and weekly basis; this will include weekly and monthly planning. Ensure all operations from the client are provided, the client approves all assembly operations and provides all material to perform the tasks.

If materials are not available for the planned weekly tasks, the Field engineer will generate a Bill of Material of all items needed and present to the client for purchase. The FE will need to clearly communicate all schedule issues in the building and the cause such that the Client can resolve the issues quickly. The FE will attend daily/weekly status meetings with the client and their other supplier.

The FE is NOT responsible for any work performed by others and is not required to track others’ work. The FE should manage by the rule – If you see something say something. The Field Engineer is the primary contact with the customer. The field engineer will work with the SET Turbine Field Advisors on day and night shift to maintain work progress to the customer provided requirements.
