To be considered, applicant must be experienced in the design of automatic fire sprinkler systems to include site-survey, field routing of piping, drafting, hydraulic calculations, AHJ submittals, and material listing. Applicant must be proficient with Auto Cad, Hydra Cad, or Auto Sprink programs.
Job Responsibilities:- Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications.
- Assist management with oversight, training, and mentoring of design staff.
- Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel.
- Three years’ experience in fire sprinkler design
- NICET Level II or higher certification
- Must be familiar with NFPA standards and FM Global guidelines.
- Technical understanding of fire sprinkler design including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoSPRINK and MS Office programs
- Texas RME-G license a plus
