Project Finance Manager

We are seeking a Project Finance Manager for a chemical production facility in Houston, TX. The hiring team is eager to fill this role with a qualified professional based in the Houston area.

Directly reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will oversee financial aspects of capital projects and process improvement initiatives from inception to completion. This position requires effective collaboration with engineering, operations, maintenance, and external partners.

Duties Oversee capital projects and process improvement efforts throughout the project lifecycle

Create project scopes, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, and plans for execution

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams

Manage contractor selection, contracts, project expenditures, and invoice processing

Provide support for plant shutdowns and major capital initiatives

Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall progress

Address day-to-day contractor requirements while ensuring project safety and efficiency

Requirements

Must hold a degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Extensive background in managing capital projects within chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environments

Proficient in debottlenecking, project engineering, cost estimation, budgeting, scheduling, and project execution

Experience in overseeing vendors, contractors, bids, contracts, and project expenditures

Previous involvement in plant shutdowns and major construction endeavors

Demonstrated ability in cross-functional leadership and project coordination

Preferred possession of PMP or equivalent project management certification

Must reside in or have easy access to the Houston area Travel requirement is below 10%
