Location: Houston, TX (hybrid, relocation provided)
Job Type: Full-time, direct hire
Pay: $140,000 to $160,000 per year
Be the technical authority on complex commercial building systems at a national engineering and architecture firm, with full relocation to Houston.
Must-Haves- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 10+ years of electrical engineering design and project management on commercial MEP and fire protection systems
- Proven record leading large or complex engineering projects
- Lead electrical design, calculations, drawings and specifications for complex commercial projects
- Integrate electrical systems with mechanical, structural, civil and environmental disciplines
- Run QC reviews at key milestones and ensure code and regulatory compliance
- Support construction with site visits and submittal reviews
- Manage project schedules, resources and budgets
- Mentor junior engineers and work directly with clients
- Fire protection or fire alarm system design experience
- Multidisciplinary A/E firm experience
- Master’s in Electrical Engineering
- $140,000 to $160,000 base salary
- Full relocation package to Houston
