CAD​/Revit Technician

Job Summary

The CAD/Revit Technician will mainly use REVIT and occasionally AutoCAD to set up and update project models and backgrounds, draft redline mark ups of MEP systems, document existing conditions using REVIT, and aide in trouble shooting REVIT issues.

• Set up models and update them as architectural models are shared.
• Draft existing site and system conditions from Engineer's field survey notes.
• Work in conjunction with supervising Engineer to draft MEP system layouts, schedules, and details for a variety of projects.
• Work with internal/external technicians, designers, and engineers to coordinate building systems.
• Model, background, and layer management.

• Experience in an A/E/C environment designing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of drafting techniques.
• MEP engineering terminology, a plus but not required.
• Efficient and accurate drafting with adherence to BIM standards.
• High level of proficiency in REVIT design software with some CAD knowledge.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Electronic project file management experience.
• Excellent time management and an extremely high level of attention to detail.

• Self-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a project.
