Gameway is leveling up, and we're recruiting a full-time General Manager to run our William P. Hobby Airport lounge. If you can build and lead a squad of driven sales associates who love gaming as much as they love hitting their goals,

• Run the lounge:
  Lead all daily operations and deliver an S-tier guest experience.
• Crush the leader board:
  Drive sales by setting clear goals, tracking results, and deploying creative strategies to meet and exceed targets.
• Assemble your party:
  Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team that delivers outstanding service and embodies Gameway's fun, customer-first culture.
• Manage the roster:
  Oversee scheduling and labor management to keep staffing at optimal levels.
• Keep the map clean:
  Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing lounge that reflects the Gameway brand.
• Manage your inventory:
  Monitor supply levels and order proactively to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Keep the gear in top shape:
  Make sure all gaming equipment and lounge tech run smoothly, and troubleshoot or elevate issues as needed.
• Level up your team:
  Coach team members through ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance evaluations.
• Play by the rules:
  Ensure full compliance with company policies, airport regulations, and safety standards.
• Build the vibe:
  Create a welcoming space where travelers want to relax, play, and come back for another round.
• Side quests:
  Take on additional leadership and operational duties as assigned.

• 5+ years as a Store Manager or General Manager in retail, restaurant, sales, or entertainment
• Experience managing 3+ direct reports, including recruiting, performance management, and terminations
• A burning desire to grow and level up with the company
• Passion for video games and gaming culture, with knowledge of current gaming trends and tech
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
• Energetic, positive, and adaptable, and someone who thrives when the pressure's on
• Strong sales acumen and a track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets
• High-level customer service focused on memorable guest experiences
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds
• Must pass a background check for required airport badging

• Associate's degree or higher in business, hospitality, or a related field
• 2+ years of direct sales experience
• Experience opening new company locations

Full-time, 50 hours per week. The schedule varies based on business needs and lounge performance, and may include day and night shifts.

• $58,000 – $60,000 base salary + bonus potential
