Sr. Tax Analyst

Assist with research of tax issues, tax positions, and tax developments on various tax matters and makes recommendations based upon research. Maintains tax systems, tax files, and tax work-papers to comply with internal and external tax reporting guidelines independently. High working knowledge of tax compliance and process for tax reporting. Prepares tax provision work papers in accordance with ASC
740 and prepares work papers to support tax returns. Identifies opportunities for tax savings and potential deductions. Collects, organizes, and analyzes financial data and assesses the impact of new tax laws. Collaborates with internal teams (e.g. accounting, finance) and external auditors.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Fulfill tax reporting requirements (ASC
  740) by preparing schedules and work papers at a high level.
• Assist with tax compliance by preparing tax returns and supporting work papers.
• Assist with tax controversy responses.
• Assist with tax planning opportunities.

Experience:

5 + years’ experience in tax at a Big Four preferred.

Education:

• Minimum required:
  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred . Preferred:
  Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance, a plus.
