Hitachi Energy is seeking a Corporate Controller North America. This leadership opportunity leads financial planning, analysis, and controlling for Hitachi Energy’s US operations. The role ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial reporting while driving strategic initiatives to enhance business performance. The role will be based in Hitachi Energy’s North America HQ in Raleigh, NC.

• Oversee and manage all corporate controlling activities for the US operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
• Review financial statements and provide monthly reporting on key KPIs to local and global management.
• Monitor and analyze capital expenditure budgets and actual spending; provide variance analysis and recommendations.
• Partner with global and local controllers to assess financial performance and implement improvement actions.
• Collaborate with the CFD / RFD and senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives.
• Act as a finance business partner to functional managers, supporting decision-making and financial planning.
• Drive process improvement initiatives across regional and global finance operations.

• Minimum 8-10 years in Financial Planning & Analysis or Controlling, preferably in a multinational environment. Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders and auditors.
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and current accounting standards.
