The purpose of this job is to personally generate mortgage volume while overseeing and managing the origination staff, including loan originators, loan processors, and other support staff as necessary.
Responsibilities- Problem resolution for loans in process.
- Negotiate pricing within limits set by department management.
- Judge documentation adequacy, address improvement needs.
- Train originators on policies, procedures, business development and realtor relations.
- Gathering application data/providing info to prospects.
- Assisting or supervising the processing of the loan files.
- Dealing with staffing/HR/operations /compliance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Thorough knowledge of FHA/VA & conventional mortgage guidelines
- Must know all consumer disclosure requirements and compliance regulations regarding home loans
Physical Requirements /Working ConditionsMust be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
