Responsibilities
- Manage and review state income/franchise tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments.
- Oversee quarterly and annual state income tax provisions.
- Serve as the primary contact for state tax audits (income and sales and use).
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax compliance across all applicable states.
- Company is growing – they have acquired 10 companies in the past few years.
- Very laid-back corporate culture and dress attire.
- Good blend of both state income tax and sales and use tax.
- Broad exposure across multiple jurisdictions and diverse business lines for a variety of tax challenges.
- Significant influence over how the state tax function is structured, staffed, and managed.
