Are you ready to make a significant impact in the mental health and IDD community? We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. As our CFO, you will be at the helm of our financial operations, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the fiscal health of our organization. This is more than a job;

Your Role in Action

• Lead Financial Operations :
Direct Finance, Accounting, Budget, Revenue Management, and Purchasing, ensuring optimal performance and compliance across departments.

• Advise on Strategy :
Provide the CEO with insightful advice on company strategies and their implementation, managing both internal functions and external vendors.

• Oversee Transactions and Contracts :
Navigate complex business transactions and negotiate critical contracts.

• Ensure Policy Compliance :
Accurately interpret and ensure compliance with fiscal regulations and laws.

• Manage Budgets :
Develop, produce, and submit the annual budget, aligning with organizational goals and timelines.

• Oversee Investments :
Act as the investment officer, adhering to Board-approved investment policies.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders :
Work closely with managed care organizations and internal stakeholders to drive financial and operational success.

• Establish Support Processes :
Create processes for quality support service delivery to both internal and external customers.

• Present Financial Reports :
Present financial reports to board members with clarity and authority.

• Lead Change :
Drive and lead organizational change initiatives effectively.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience :
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role.

• Education :
Master’s degree (MS, MPH, MBA, MHA) is preferred; CPA certification is a plus.

• Industry Knowledge :
Five years (5) of experience in behavioral health or general healthcare, with emphasis on administration, supervision, and fiscal allocation. Managed care alternative or value-based payment experience preferred.

• Financial Expertise :
Significant experience in financial operations of a large, complex organization, with proven skills in financial, budgetary, and capital planning. Experience in governmental entity financial operations is a plus.

• Regulatory Knowledge :
Understanding of the regulatory environment and laws affecting operations is highly desirable.

• Passion and Commitment : A strong dedication to the mission of community mental health and IDD, combined with a passion for the business and performance side of the organization.

• Team Player : A self-starter with a commitment to teamwork and a strong work ethic.

• Adaptability :
Comfortable working in a complex healthcare environment with regulatory demands and expectations.
