The Credit Analyst Senior handles the daily operations, applicable projects, training of new employees and reporting of the credit department which includes: new counter party setups, credit limits on counter parties, contract reviews, customer inquiries, mentoring of others and monitoring of credit exposures. The ability to work in a team environment and possess an unwavering attention to detail are keys to success.

Credit Analyst Sr Responsibilities/Expectations:Analyzes creditworthiness of new and existing counter parties and recommend credit limits; approve credit limits for new and existing counter parties up to Delegation of Authority
Processes issuance and amendments of collateral instruments
Monitors credit exposure versus established credit limits
Reviews and approves of counter party contracts - new and amendments
Handles counter party inquiries related to internal and external credit exposure
Produces reports on credit activities and operations
Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business; a minimum of seven (7) years working in a Finance/Accounting/Business environmentPreferred: A minimum of ten (10) years oil and gas experience in a Finance/Accounting area
Demonstrates outstanding organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Keen analytical skills, crucial for problem solving
Detailed understanding of financial documents and ratio analysis
Ability to present information and respond to questions from leaders and counter parties
Dedication to meet timelines and quickly adjust priorities
May be required to work overtime, including possibly working extended hours, weekends, and holidays as the need arises
Establishes credit limits for new and existing counter parties
Processes issuance and amendments of collateral instruments
Reviews A/R for counter parties and monitors credit exposure
Reviews and approves counter party contracts; handles counter party inquiries
Produces reports of credit activities and operations

Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business; a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Finance/Accounting/BusinessPreferred:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business; a minimum of seven (7) years of Finance or Accounting experience in the oil and gas industryPreferred: CPA
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and PC skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Detailed understanding of financial documents and ratio analysis
Ability to present information and respond to questions from management and counter parties
Comfortable meeting deadlines and changing priorities
Able to mentor employees and provide feedback on operational improvements
May be required to work overtime, including possibly working extended hours, weekends, and holidays as the need arises
Coordinates review of credit terms within counter party agreements and provides recommendations
