Senior Accountant

We’re partnering with a growing alternative asset manager that provides structured capital, lending, and risk‑transfer solutions across private and public credit markets. The firm manages capital for a diverse global investor base and operates in a complex, multi‑entity environment.

This is a strong opportunity for a public‑accounting‑trained CPA to step into a hands‑on role with broad exposure across management company accounting, fund‑related allocations, and financial reporting.

• Partner with internal teams and third‑party service providers (fund administrator, investor services, corporate services) to obtain and validate financial information
• Ensure proper approvals are in place for expenditures prior to payment
• Review contracts to ensure appropriate accounting treatment
• Distinguish between management company costs and fund‑level expenses, including reimbursable costs
• Review and oversee bank reconciliations
• Prepare and post recurring monthly entries (prepaids, fixed assets, amortization, accruals)
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for senior management, including variance analysis
• Support cash forecasting and budgeted cash flow analysis
• Analyze and allocate costs across affiliates and investment funds in accordance with policies
• Support transfer pricing by analyzing intercompany services and preparing related invoices
• Assist with monthly consolidations
• Calculate and report placement fees, management fee rebates, and performance fee rebates
• Prepare annual audit work papers and support the audit process
• Assist with preparation and finalization of audited financial statements
• Liaise directly with external auditors through audit completion

• 2+ years of corporate accounting
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with detailed financial data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Experience with Net Suite, Concur, or treasury systems a plus (not required)
