** Job Summary
** Key Banc Capital Markets (KBCM) is a leading middle-market investment bank offering a full range of advisory and capital markets services. The Investment Banking Analyst is an integral member of deal teams, supporting the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. Analysts are responsible for financial modeling, industry research, and the preparation of client materials.

This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with significant exposure to senior bankers, clients, and live transactions.

** Essential Functions
*** Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation and transaction analysis.
* Conduct company and industry research to support business development and deal execution.
* Assist in the preparation of pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other client deliverables.
* Analyze financial statements and assess company performance and valuation metrics.
* Support due diligence processes and assist in coordinating transaction execution.
* Collaborate in office with Associates, Vice Presidents, and Managing Directors across industry and product teams.
* Attend and actively participate in in-person team meetings, client presentations, and strategy sessions with senior bankers, fostering a collaborative office environment that enhances communication, learning, and execution effectiveness.

** Education
* ** Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required or equivalent experience. (required)
** Work Experience
*** 1+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related financial services role (preferred)
* Investment Banking or high finance internship(s) (preferred)
** Licenses and Certifications
*** FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) (preferred)
* FINRA License S7 (preferred)
* FINRA License S79 (preferred)
* FINRA License S63 (preferred)
** Skills
* ** Strong proficiency in Excel-based modeling and valuation techniques.
* Ability to interpret financial data and market trends to support strategic recommendations.
* Skilled in gathering and synthesizing information into clear, client-ready materials.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment.
* High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all work products.
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
