Position: KYC Analyst (1828)

The KYC Analyst is responsible for executing the Know Your Customer process in accordance with Aramco Trading Americas’ policies and regulatory requirements. This role ensures thorough due diligence on counter parties, mitigates financial crime risks, and supports compliance with global standards such as AML, CFT, OFAC, and sanctions. The analyst will collaborate with Credit, Legal, Operations, and Compliance teams to maintain the integrity of onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Conduct CIP screening and verification using internal systems and third-party tools (e.g., World-Check, Lexis Nexis).
  • Perform periodic refreshes and enhanced due diligence for medium/high-risk counter parties.
  • Monitor adverse media, PEP status, and sanctions lists; elevate findings as necessary.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure adherence to ATA’s KYC Policy and Procedures.
  • Document and disposition screenings, investigations, and alerts related to AML, terrorist financing, and reputational risks.
  • Prepare reports for management and maintain accurate records in SAP/PEGA workflow tools.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for KYC processes and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in compliance training programs.
Experience and Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in KYC, AML, or compliance within financial services or energy trading.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (OFAC, BSA/AML, CFTC).
  • Proficiency in due diligence tools and systems (World-Check, Lexis Nexis).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
