The Flow Control & Safety Solutions (FCSS) Sr Finance Manager – FP&A Management role is responsible for financial planning, analysis and reporting for a ~$1B P&L with a large and complex global footprint of manufacturing and commercial operations across the Baker Hughes Valves & CDC businesses. The role will drive overall savings on base costs, provide visibility and guidance to senior leadership on critical functional spend and liaise with HQ Corp and HQ IET for all deliverables.
This position provides a unique opportunity for a strong experienced finance leader to drive change and lead the financial performance of the business over the coming years.
Responsibilities- Provide financial leadership to establish FCSS’ financial goals and objectives
- Play a significant role with functional and commodity forecasts, planning and deep dives for the various planning sessions
- Highlight trends and analyze causes of unexpected variances, driving achievement of functional cost targets
- Establish and maintain a financial measurement, budgeting and reporting system that provides management with appropriate information and counsel
- Maintain controllership responsibility and oversight
- Establish operating forecasts and plans, including appropriate contingency planning
- Understand impact of costs (direct and indirect) on financial goals and measurements
- Prepare financial evaluations for internal customers, senior leadership and external customers or channel partners as needed
- Lead and develop a team of two seasoned finance analysts
- Provide visibility and reporting on cash flow, investment, expenses, and receivables to support the division’s operating activities
- Ad hoc support to the VP & CFO as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Have a minimum 8-10 years of finance experience
- Have a minimum 5 years in a finance leadership role
- Have to travel 10% of the time, as required
