Job Description
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Intellectual Property team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well‑rounded skill set to join the Intellectual Property team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of a traditional Analyst. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of the Intellectual Property industry, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.
Job Responsibilities- Creating complex financial models
- Performing and synthesizing in-depth industry, technology, and company‑specific research
- Writing reports and preparing presentations
- Attending client meetings to collect information for analyses
- Reviewing and analyzing financial, marketing and other documents produced in litigation
- Critiquing opposing parties' economic arguments
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting and/or economics
- Academic success – minimum 3.5 GPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, flexibility
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience including accounting, finance, economics, valuation methodologies, and/or financial modeling preferred
- Must be willing to work in person in our Houston, TX office

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000. Any offered salary range is based a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
