Trade Control Analyst – Commodities (Mid Level)
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $42.45/hr W2
Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP – Within 2 Weeks of Acceptance
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Training: Onsite 4 days/week, then minimum 3 days/week onsite

Position Overview
The Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities Operations (GFICCO) team provides end-to-end trade control, confirmation, and settlement support across GFICCO businesses. The team also provides OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non-FICC businesses.
Within GFICCO, the Commodities Trade Control Team supports trade control, settlement, OTC derivative confirmation and settlement, and broader commodities operations.
The team is seeking a Trade Control Analyst to support the growing Global Commodities business across multiple products and instruments. Full technical training will be provided.
The role is desk-aligned and focuses on:

• Trade validation and reconciliation
• Trade amendments
• Regulatory and management reporting
• Process and risk improvement
• Trade-break investigation and issue resolution

Key Responsibilities

• Perform trade validation by reconciling trades and ensuring accurate system booking.
• Process trade amendments to correct booking errors and maintain accurate trade records.
• Investigate, escalate, and resolve trade breaks in partnership with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams.
• Support regulatory and management reporting activities.
• Contribute to process improvement, risk reduction, and control enhancement initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc requests and support broader team priorities.

• 4–5 years of commodities experience required/preferred.
• 2–3 years of commodities experience specifically noted as preferred.
• Experience with an ETRM system, such as Endur/Openlink, preferred.
