Freshmen and sophomores: explore a career in finance with a global financial services firm. Over 7 weeks you'll learn from Macquarie professionals, work on a real project, and pitch your investment thesis. Mostly remote (~10-15 hrs/week) with two in-person events at Macquarie's Houston office. $1,000 stipend on completion. No finance experience needed. First-generation college students are encouraged to apply.

• 7 weeks, January 11 to early March 2027
• Hybrid: weekly virtual sessions (Wednesdays around midday ET), plus two required in-person events at Macquarie's Houston office (week of January 25, and late February or early March)
• About 10-15 hours a week
• Externs join one of three Macquarie groups:
  Commodities & Global Markets, Macquarie Capital, or Macquarie Asset Management

• Freshmen and sophomores (Class of 2029 or 2030, or December 2028/2029 graduates)
• Attending a college within about an hour of Macquarie's New York City or Houston office, and able to attend both in-person events
• Curious about financial services. No experience needed, and all majors are welcome.
• First-generation college students are especially encouraged to apply

• A $1,000 stipend on successful completion
• Exposure to multiple divisions of a global financial services firm
• Mentorship from Macquarie professionals
• A real project, ending in a final investment pitch
• The opportunity to be considered for future Macquarie internships
