Director, FP&A and Business Intelligence

Remote role with 50%+ travel to sites. We are searching for a client and are especially interested in candidates based in the Southeast and Texas.

Our client is a growing industrial and environmental services platform, and they need a Director of FP&A and Business Intelligence to build the financial and operational management infrastructure from the ground up. Compensation: $150,000-$180,000 annual plus bonus opportunity

• Financial modeling, forecasting, profitability analysis, and job costing for a project-based, field-services business
• Performance management that shows leadership what actually drives profit
• Financial reporting systems, management dashboards, and analytics from scratch
• Data models that pull multiple data sources into one reliable view

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with deep skill in financial modeling, forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Hands-on business intelligence experience, including Power BI (DAX, Power Query) as a must-have: data modeling, dashboard design, and integrating multiple data sources
• A track record of creating reporting and analytical infrastructure, not just maintaining it
• Strong operating instincts for labor-intensive, project-based, or field-services businesses
• Executive-level communication: you can explain complex financials clearly, challenge assumptions constructively, and work well with operators and senior leadership
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
